What is a brand statement?

A brand statement works like a one-line summary of what you do and who you do it for.

But wait, isn't that a tagline?

Not exactly, taglines don't tell customers what your organization does. A tagline focuses on a key component of your organization's values. It's meant to be memorable, not informational.

When and how do I use a brand statement?

A brand statement is great for a profile bio or a website slideshow heading. Anywhere you have limited space to get across information about your organization. Once you've done the work behind this it becomes a great tool to filter your marketing efforts through.
